Thank you parents and athletes for helping out at the Biathlon races this weekend!! All of your efforts and time pulled off a great weekend event! Thank you.
I hope that the open camp went well for those athletes who attended and for those athletes we didn't see... you were missed!

Tuesday: Bring your white shirt/t-shirt to prepare for our races on Friday night. We will do them after practice (we will be off snow a bit early to accommodate for this).
Thursday: Bring your food, be ready to wax your skis and pack in world record time!! 😁 Please note, I will need parent vehicles please to help bring gear down to Red Deer (plus the tent). Every space helps! Those not racing in Red Deer you can come and hang out and help pack things up too! There will be no practice for you in GP as all coaches will be in Red Deer.
Friday: Meet at RiverBend golf course for 2:30pm. We will train (I will need parents to help set up the tent/waxing area please), athletes will put their skis away, and go for supper; the evening race starts at 6:30pm so be back for 5:45pm at the wax tent for our team meeting in person and then we will gear up, light up (thank you Grandpa Charlie) and grab skis to race a fun evening of chaos! Skis will need to be left so coaches can wax them after the races please!
Saturday: Classic technique distance ski. Follow your race plans (come 2 hours before your start time)! Parking is always a challenge at this venue so if you can carpool that would be great! Team supper is booked for 6:30pm at the North Side Boston Pizza under Wapiti Nordic for 40 people.
Team meeting will be in the restaurant.
Sunday: Skate distance. Again, follow your race plans (come 1.5 hours before your start time) and then when you're packed up and heading out please ensure that you just let one of the coaches know. If you drove gear down, please ensure that you take it back with you also! We will try to have everything packed up by the time you're ready to leave.
