Well done with the New Years Race everyone to was back. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this week as we prepare for our next weekend of racing!!

1. For those athletes who qualified for the Alberta Winter Games team, please note Sunday January 25th, and thank you Coach Krista for planning this event for the Zone8 team! Please text Coach Krista if you are planning to attend this event by January 22nd- 780-841-8940!

2. Those athletes racing in Red Deer, please register here! Registration closes next week. We have our costumes & lights from last year, for the Friday Nights Lights, so you just need a white shirt that you're ok with sticking black stickers on them. We will do our shirts on our waxing night next week. Please register for this event also when registering for the AB Cup Races.  

3. The Tawatinaw Provincial Camp is a go (Jan 9-11) and if you'd like to attend, please register here. Deadline is Monday 8:00pm. There are a few families going, so please check for people to help carpool!

Tuesday & Thursday: Come prepared for both techniques. With all the snow that we're getting, it's really hard for the groomers to keep up with getting a classic track in and a skate lane. We will happily do our workouts on whatever we arrive to each day! Bring headlamps, water bottles, and dress appropriately for the temperatures nature is giving us this week!

Saturday: PRACTICE AT 2:30pm. We will meet at the lodge for 2:30 after the Biathlon races and skate ski. We have some technique stuff to do and then some other stuff. 😁 Bring your water belts as always!
