A shout out to Uncle Lamby who was racing in Canmore this past weekend with a solid finish of first and second!! Well done kiddo!! Biking last weekend, snow galore this past week and now rain. Please be patient as the groomers get their groove on, as the weather figures out if it's autumn or winter, as construction is completed and please be prepared with both techniques for each practice! For this week, the lights will be on for us and we have sole access to the lodge- which means we can leave our gear inside etc. The lodge is NOT open to the public yet, so the front door will remain locked when we're out on snow and the side door will be opened for parents coming and going and the gate will remain closed until further notice. Our focus will be on distance and technique this week. Next week we will be building speed into the mix. If you're finding that you're out of breath easily, it's normal and only occurring because your body is adjusting to the change in sport
