PARENTS:

  • Uniform order sheets are to be in to Claire by October 18th.
  • Tawatinaw On Snow Provincial Camp: This camp is an open camp to the province to get some extra training in. I will not be attending this, but fully support athletes going if they would like to. Details can be found here. Please if you're going and have room for other athletes, let the team know! Thank you for your interest in this provincial opportunity!
  • We will be having a team training camp the weekend of Oct 28/29 for the Juniors and Oct 29/30 for the Seniors. This is not a sleepover camp, just a "get in more hours of training in camp." Details and times to come however we're hoping tentatively for:
    • Juniors: to do camp from 6:00-9:00pm (fed before coming and potluck snacks) on Friday, Oct 28th; 9:30-12pm on Saturday Oct 29th.
    • Seniors: to do camp from 9-5pm on Saturday and 10-3pm on Sunday. Bring your own lunches, water and snacks.
  • Equipment: if you don't have equipment purchased yet, there are people traveling down to Canmore and Edmonton and BC over the next month or so who will be stopping in for their own purchases and can pick up equipment for you. Please let the parent group know (when you're picking up your athlete(s) ) if you've ordered anything and planning starts from there. 

ATHLETES:

  • Hoodie plans are underway. We are open to ideas still for this week and then the voting will begin.

Tuesday: Meet at Thrill Hill! Water bottles and runners for this workout. Juniors- please bring your bike!

Thursday: Meet at Muskoseepi Pavilion

Saturday: Please pay attention to the details on this blog posting- there's a change in plans here. 
  • Juniors: will meet at Saskatoon Island Main Parking lot for 10:15am and pickup will be 12:00noon. Bring your bikes please.

  • Seniors: We will be meeting at the entrance of Saskatoon Mountain Rd and the service road just off of the highway (RR92 & Hwy 43). 
  • If you are comfortable on roller skis- please bring your classic roller skis (helmet, vest, poles, water, boots, snack...) and be ready for hill repeats and distance (goal is 3 road distance + 3 hills- up only) with a chauffeured trip back down to the highway (I will need 2 parent drivers again please). 
  • If you are just learning, you will be skate roller skiing- please bring your ski boots and poles, helmet, water bottle etc and be ready to ski on the road with a small hill portion if you're ready for it OR bring your bike- and you will be riding the hill sets. 
  • Coaches, please come ready to ski and/or bike. 
  • Practice will be 10-12:15pm.
