November 18-24, 2024

With snow arriving and the temperatures dropping to winter temps, we will be changing our training times but not this week. I sent out a poll via TeamSnap and you can find it here. I love our 30 minutes in daylight, but I know how hard it is to get out on snow on time and with waxing skis it adds more time to getting onto snow on time. We will still be using rock skis for the first part of this week (and most likely until the end of the week) and try to keep up with what is down below, so that I don't have to try to remember. Basically we're alternating days for equipment as we don't have enough.

 Don't forget:

  1. Hoodie sizes and name for your sleeve by Tuesday (I'm only missing a few people)- please just let me know if you're not ordering a hoodie. E-transfer $30 to: clairerichter@me.com when you get a chance please.
  2. Ski Club memberships are due by the end of this month (all athletes need one and you DO NOT need to purchase a Nordiq Alberta membership again, unless you're a coach). 10% discount until Nov 30. Register here
  3. Canmore Alberta Cup 1 & 2 race notice can be found here. Please have a read through it. It's an exciting start to the season as we have our very first team skate sprints in an Alberta Race Series and then a nice long classic distance race.
