Super sorry this late!

Parents:

  • TICKETS!- Amber will be collecting booklets and money this week. Please bring what you have in cash/checks to her this week. All booklets need to be collected by Nov 24th. Claire is also looking for 4 more tickets! 
  • Hoodies- will be $37/hoodie. We are close to ordering team hoodies- if you would like your athlete to receive a hoodie and want a specific name on it (not what your athlete has told me) please email me directly with your requests. 😀 If you are wanting family hoodies, please email Claire sizes etc and they will get put into the order. Seniors: Burgundy; Juniors: Teal or Camo. Please e-transfer to Claire: clairerichter@me.com $37/hoodie.

Athletes

  • As we're on snow now, it's your responsibility to be dressed appropriately for the weather (see the team manual that was emailed out at the beginning of the season.
  • Practice starts on snow at 5:45, so show up earlier please so that we can actually start practice when we're supposed to and not wait around for people. Let's remember to respect each other's time. AND BRING YOUR HEADLAMP!

Tuesday & Thursday- please show up ready for either technique. I'd like to get some classic skiing done, however it will depend on the snow and trail conditions. With all of the coaches being away for the past weekend, we're also going to be doing some catch up. Seniors, for these two workouts, please start practice with our *warm-up and then meet in the stadium for 6:05. Juniors, on Tuesday we will be doing hoodie sizing inside the lodge first and then you will do your **warm-up, but it will look a bit different for you. See you on snow!

*Seniors Warm-up: two laps of skiing up to biathlon and down around claw ridge, into the xc stadium; then a quick ski up to the top of the forest trails (zone 3) and back down. I would like you to time yourself please on how long this takes you. 

**Juniors Warm-up: ONE lap of skiing up to biathlon and down around claw ridge, into the xc stadium; then a quick ski around Candy-cane Lane. I would like you to time yourself please on how long this takes you. 

Saturday- technique TBD. We will be doing a long ski today- please come with snacks and lots of water for this workout. 

Sunday- I will at the trails doing specific work on technique- classic and skate. If you would like to join me, please text me and I will book you in for a 30 minute session. From there, my expectation is that you will go for a 30-45 min ski on your own, working on the technique that we had done. If you would like to work on skate and classic, please also text this to me, so that I can schedule you in appropriately.
