What a great first weekend of racing team!! This weekend could not have gone as well as it did without all the parents who helped in all the ways that you did! Thank you SO much for making this an awesome weekend for all our athletes and coaches!! Well done athletes!!👏
NOTES:
- Race registration for Prince George closes on Wednesday $5-7/race- I kid you not!! And it’s a great venue to host. Register HERE.
- Christmas Team party- has been set for Thursday Dec. 22 from 5:45-7:15. Bring snacks and a gift for the exchange. The team decided on $20 limit for the gift.
Tuesday: We will be classic skiing. Come prepared for a quick change in temperature! Please dress appropriately!
Thursday: We are waxing skis for Prince George and have a team supper again. For those of you who have new skis, please come early to practice to get those shiny skis waxed up with extra layers and pre-wax your classic skis so that after practice you only have to scrape them. Rex blue both sets of skis please. We will have a skate practice. Those not attending PG races, please come to practice ready for a full skate practice working on technique and distance! The trails will be amazing Thursday after the cold snap so come ready to ski fast! 🥳
Saturday: Practice will be classic distance ski with minimal stopping.
Prince George:
Friday: meet at the ski trails for 2:30pm ready to skate ski the courses. Hopefully we can! Caledonia Ski Club map can be found HERE.
Saturday: We will aim for a team supper. Details to come.
Sunday: After the races, we will be home in time for supper!
