Important Notice:

Please register for our upcoming race! You can click here, and follow the directions. Zone4 typically fills in the blanks for you, however there may be a few areas that are challenging.

  1. Double check the birth year of your athlete(s) when registering.
  2. When registering your U16 or U18 athlete, there is a dropdown menu that will come up with a variety of races. Do not panic- just pick the appropriate YOB race for your athlete (U16= 2008-9; U 18=2006-7).
  3. U14 and older athletes will need to select and pay an extra $5 for the snow enhancement fee- at least there's snow!
  4. There is NOT an indicator button to try out for the Arctic Winter Games- it is assumed that if you're traveling all the way down to ski on snow for the first time/and race, that you are wanting to put your name forward to try out. There are 6 spots for U14-U18 boys and 6 spots for U14-U18 girls. That is it unfortunately. Both races will be taken into consideration for the qualification of the team.

*We will not be having a team supper next week due to a few scheduling challenges. Is there a parent who has taken this on though? And can we please get the link sent out? Details about Tuesday's waxing night will be added next blog.

Tuesday: Meet at Thrill Hill and bring your poles! YAY!!! Water, headlamps and runners... you guys know the list by now.

Thursday: Meet in the parking lot of the Evergreen Park Casino and bring a food bank donation item please. PARENTS: Drop off at casino; pick up at the lost lake loop parking lot, just past evergreen park, towards PARDS. When you pass the evergreen park intersection on your right, follow the road around and then take a left at the T intersection. We will be in that parking lot just to your right, after this for 6:30pm. Athletes, bring your poles, water and headlamps!!

Saturday: It seems that almost 1/2 of the team will be heading to ski on snow in Hinton (if there is anyone else who would like to go, biathlon Coach Davis is planning on being there as well until about 2pm on Saturday). Some people will be staying overnight and skiing on Sunday as well. Please bring cash to pay for day memberships in Hinton, I can't recall the cost.

I apologize to those who are not going, but there will be no practice on Saturday with the team, it is my last weekend before the end of term, to finalize projects/exams etc.

March 25-31, 2024.

I am not really sure what happened to this season. It went by so quickly!! Thank you team for a great season and a very special thank you to...
