TIME CHANGE: 5:45-7:15PM from here on in. Please recognize that it takes 15-25min to get onto your skis with skis waxed and dressed appropriately. LOTS of athletes are coming not wearing appropriate gear for practice. If you get stuff from the coaches during practice- please bring warmer mitts, a buff or two and a toque!!!

REMINDER:
If you are planning on TRYING OUT for the Alberta Winter Games (on Jan 6th), please register HERE so that you're in the system to tryout. Athletes must be born between February 12, 2011 - Jan 31, 2008. On the form please ensure you register your athlete(s) for 3 events (classic, freestyle and relay) and we are zone 8. Once you qualify, there will be an $80 fee to help cover costs of food, transportation and accommodations (over the three days that we are at the event). There is generally very little, to no other expenses for these game except for snack foods post races. This form NEEDS to be completed by December 31, 2023.

Tuesday: Flyingshot lake- on snow skiing- rock skis, bring your own if you have some- otherwise, bring your boots and poles, headlamps & water. We will meet at the mailboxes for safer parking and walk in the ditch back towards the creek. REMINDER- time change!
Wednesday: Nighthawk downhill ski park- on snow skiing- classic workout, no rick skis needed, three layers of blue wax corked in. Bring your waiver! We will be off snow for 7:30 as this practice will take us longer to get out on snow etc.
Thursday: WNSC Lodge- Christmas Party time- bring an appetizer to share, a water bottle with water and a $10 gift item to exchange! Wear your ugly Christmas sweater and be ready for some team bonding and stealing!
Saturday: Wood Lake- skate skiing
