It's a NEW season!!! 2024-25 here we come!!!

Hi Gang!!!

Welcome to a new season and another year older and stronger!! The blog has a slightly different look this season, but the format is the same. Important things to do/follow up on/or pay attention to are at the beginning and then the details of the week to come are below. The three lines in the top left corner will get you my NCCP# which all athletes U14 and older require for their Nordic Canada race licences. In this section you will also find quick links to environment Canada, Nordic Alberta and Zone4, our registration page. Click on MORE to see the full blog (I don't know why it won't open up in full version) and at the very bottom you can click on this to see older blog posts.

1. ALL ATHLETES: please email clairerichter@me.com or text me your goals that we discussed last week (and if you were away- now you get to add it to the list). I'm not sure what happened but I cannot recover my work that I typed out for some reason. I'm SO sorry for this. But I need your goals please. I have an idea of what your favourite workouts were, so that's been done. Again super sorry about this.

  1. Skiing Goal
  2. Fitness Goal
  3. Personal Goal
2. Mandatory parent meeting: September 10 at 5pm at Muskoseepi Pavilion. Parents please bring any questions, concerns and ideas with you!

3. Ski Grinding: Please remember to check your ski bases from last year and get back to me BY September 17th so I know how many skis are getting done.

4. Workouts: Please remember that your bodies are not in shape for skiing, but they're in shape from the activities that you were doing this summer! Don't be hard on yourselves and just know that you will be in drylands shape in a few short weeks.
