Well done team on a great effort in training these past four weeks. We're heading into our second cycle of training and things are going to keep ramping up as you guys get more fit! 👊 Don't forget to eat!!! Eat lots of healthy food and eat frequently. I'm serious about you guys coming to practice and not being able to give it your best all because you chose not to fuel yourself well for the day. Please eat and please bring a recovery snack (even as simple as chocolate milk) to have after practice. This will help you recover more quickly from all this hard work that you're putting in. 🍲

Reminder for this week:
If you would like to see if your athlete has grown out of their equipment, please bring it in for sizing (preferably on Saturday, but if you're away then at practice this week). Remember ALL gear needs to be labeled and this doesn't mean youre selling it, we're just making sure it still fits your athlete. Growing out of equipment can be a gain or loss of weight 10+ pounds, a gain of a 5-10cm or more. This affects their skiing greatly and can slow them down considerably despite all their effort that they put in.
Reminder for next week:
Ski practice on Tuesday, September 30th will start with the ski swap at 1-2; then a roller ski training camp from 2-5pm. Details for this camp will be on the blog next week.

Tuesday and Thursday: Meet at Muskoseepi for 5:00pm with runners and water bottles and dress for the changing weather please!
Saturday: Meet at the ski lodge and we will collect skis inside the lodge and then go for a skate roller ski workout. I'll be there early I promise. Also the pole bin has had an update and ski pole tips have been replaced so that process should be quicker now.
